Material Planner

Location: Monte Mor, São Paulo, Brazil. This is an onsite position. Work visa sponsorship and relocation support are not offered.

What you will do

• Ensure material availability for production while maintaining healthy inventory levels.
• Analyze demand, consumption trends, inventory coverage, and material requirements to anticipate shortages and excess inventory.
• Execute and analyze MRP outputs and translate system recommendations into planning actions.
• Maintain material master data and planning parameters, including safety stock, lot sizes, and lead times.
• Communicate forecasts and requirements to suppliers and follow up on purchase orders and deliveries.
• Monitor local, imported, and in-transit materials, coordinating mitigation actions for supply risks and schedule changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience in Material Planning, Supply Planning, or a related Supply Chain role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of MRP, inventory management, safety stock, planning parameters, demand analysis, supplier follow-up, and shortage management.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and confidence working with large datasets.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Python, SQL, or similar tools.
• Must be based in Monte Mor, São Paulo, Brazil; visa sponsorship and relocation support are unavailable.

Nice to have

• Experience with continuous improvement, Lean, or Kaizen initiatives.
• English and Spanish for collaboration in a regional Planning Hub environment.
