EHS Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma, United States; on-site manufacturing plant

What you will do

• Develop and execute the plant EHS strategy in alignment with business objectives and company EHS&S goals.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, environmental, health, safety, and company requirements.
• Lead the EHS management system, including ISO 14001 implementation and ISO 45001 certification readiness.
• Establish governance processes, performance metrics, and improvement strategies for EHS results.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve workforce engagement, empowerment, and ownership of EHS performance.
• Build relationships with regulatory agencies, community leaders, and external stakeholders while promoting sustainable manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience designing, implementing, and leading proactive EHS programs in manufacturing.
• 3+ years of leadership experience implementing, managing, or sustaining ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or comparable EHS management systems.
• Demonstrated success improving EHS performance and partnering with regulatory agencies.
• Strong communication, business acumen, stakeholder influence, and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or equivalent certification.
