Data Analyst, Regulatory Analytics and Reporting (Crypto)

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $96,000–$192,000 per year, excluding bonuses, equity, wellness allowance, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Design compliance dashboards, regulatory metrics, and reports for stakeholders, leadership, and regional compliance officers.
• Build and maintain datasets, audit-ready data models, sources, and pipelines for regulatory analytics.
• Automate compliance data solutions, governance controls, and workflows to reduce manual intervention and errors.
• Translate regulatory and business requests into reports and automated pipelines using Python, SQL, dbt, and Airflow.
• Lead cross-functional data projects with analysts, engineers, and compliance teams, including data-quality monitoring and remediation.
• Support audits, examinations, risk assessments, and ad hoc data requests through clear, data-driven storytelling.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis and data management within financial services or another regulated industry.
• Hands-on experience with compliance and regulatory reporting frameworks such as AML, KYC, Sanctions, MiCA, or MiFID.
• Expert SQL skills, including complex joins, CTEs, and analytical functions, plus Python experience with pandas, matplotlib, and plotly.
• Experience with dbt or similar data-modeling tools and with data-pipeline orchestration.
• Experience building executive-facing dashboards with QuickSight, Power BI, Superset, or similar BI tools.
• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Information Systems, or a related technical field; strong communication skills and knowledge of cryptocurrency and financial markets.
