Educational Data Analyst

Location: Remote - US

Base compensation: $110,000–$120,000 USD annually, plus incentive stock options and benefits.

What you will do

• Engage with school district administrators and educators to understand data analysis needs and explain dashboard insights.
• Design and develop customized metrics and data dashboards.
• Manage databases and queries using SQL.
• Maintain dashboards, troubleshoot platform and data quality issues, and support reliable reporting and data modeling.
• Manage and update data integrations.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and Product to improve the data platform.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a data analyst, data engineer, or in a similar role.
• Experience working with educational data and familiarity with K–12 schools.
• Experience with data visualization tools and dashboard design.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable information.
• Strong independent project execution, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Python experience for data cleaning, analysis, and automation.
• Experience with K–12 student information systems such as Infinite Campus, PowerSchool, Skyward, or Aeries.
