Senior Data Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in New York City, with office attendance at least three days per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; additional office days may be required for client meetings.

Annual base salary: $150,000–$160,000, plus equity, benefits, and additional perks.

What you will do

• Use data to drive user growth, identify trends, and influence product and business decisions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to answer analytical questions, evaluate hypotheses, and develop data-driven solutions.
• Define and manage metrics supporting product, growth, and operational strategy.
• Build data ingestion and transformation pipelines using tools such as dbt.
• Develop dashboards, presentations, memos, and visualizations that communicate insights and inspire action.
• Review analyses with peers and collaborate to ensure accuracy and quality.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of professional experience in data analytics.
• Advanced SQL skills, including translating business questions into queries, using joins and functions, and building data pipelines.
• Experience with experimentation and statistical analysis for decision-making.
• Ability to work across the data pipeline, including ingestion, processing, modeling, and visualization.
• Ability to collaborate with product, business, and other cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Tableau.
• Experience with Python or R.
• Interest in financial systems and consumer behavior.
• Experience with machine learning or statistical modeling.
• Experience in a high-growth startup environment.
