General Manager (Transportation)

Location: Rochester, MN; must be local or willing to relocate

Salary: $110,000–$160,000 per year, excluding equity or variable pay

What you will do

• Manage the on-site daily operations of the transit service in Rochester.
• Prioritize real-time operational issues and coordinate scheduling for a round-the-clock team.
• Lead, coach, and develop drivers, dispatchers, mechanics, and other on-the-ground staff.
• Build relationships with driver partners, customers, community leaders, local organizations, senior management, and external partners.
• Define team metrics, track KPIs, prepare reports, and analyze data to improve processes and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company policies and regulations.

Requirements

• Must be local to Rochester, MN or willing to relocate.
• At least 5 years of operations management experience and a bachelor's degree.
• Experience leading support teams and developing people.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, delegation, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
