Operations Associate (AI)

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end import and export operations across ocean, air, and trucking shipments in Brazil.
• Oversee logistics partner performance and build operational frameworks, processes, dashboards, and tools.
• Map Brazilian import and export processes to support future operational insourcing.
• Identify operational gaps, standardize processes, and develop automation and AI-driven solutions.
• Resolve client and shipment issues, escalate operational risks, and maintain service levels and compliance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Trade Lane, Operations, and global teams to design logistics solutions and support new business.

Requirements

• Bilingual English and Portuguese communication skills required; Spanish is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or ocean carrier operations.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience building and refining performance dashboards and conducting root-cause analysis.
• Hands-on daily use of AI tools or a strong ability to adopt them quickly.

Nice to have

• Spanish-language skills.
• Entrepreneurial experience driving operational innovation and results.
