Manager, Financial Reporting - Construction Clients

Location: Remote anywhere in the United States; travel up to 10%.

Salary: $97,000–$145,000 annually, plus potential annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Review and deliver financial reports and key performance indicators.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow modeling.
• Provide technical accounting assistance to clients and internal engagement teams.
• Develop and coach staff and senior accountants while monitoring team KPIs.
• Onboard new clients, including system setup and process documentation.
• Collaborate with advisory teams, external partners, and clients to improve processes and transition clients to higher-value services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 4–6 years of public or private accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
• Experience leading teams and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of construction accounting, including job costing, WIP, and project-based financial management.
• Client-facing communication and relationship-building skills, plus experience with cross-functional partners.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online or Sage Intacct and the ability to adopt new technologies.

Nice to have

• CPA or similar certification.
