Quality Development Architect (Composite Technologies)

Location: Toulouse Area, France; frequent travel to Hamburg and Spain.

What you will do

• Define quality process architecture and integrate manufacturing quality requirements into next-generation aircraft development projects.
• Evaluate technology readiness and manufacturing readiness during gate reviews with Engineering and Production.
• Support Manufacturing Engineering in deploying preventive quality standards for technology projects.
• Conduct machine capability studies for automated solutions using recognized statistical methods.
• Lead 8D/9S root cause analyses and capture lessons learned to improve the quality system.

Requirements

• Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering background with profound professional experience.
• Technical expertise in composite technologies, robotics, automation, and statistical methods.
• Mastery of FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plan, and the APQP framework under reference 9145.
• Knowledge of Aviation, Space, and Defense QMS requirements, including AS/EN 9100 or ISO 9001.
• Experience with complex problem-solving methods such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Ishikawa.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, and willingness to travel frequently to Hamburg and Spain.
