Manager, Accounting Advisory - Physician Practices

Location: Remote anywhere in the United States; travel up to 10%.

Salary: $109,000–$147,000 per year, plus potential discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Review financial reporting packages and work papers for quality, completeness, and timely delivery.
• Prepare benchmarking data, key performance indicators, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models.
• Present reporting packages and findings to clients and provide technical accounting support on complex issues.
• Identify operational inefficiencies through client discovery sessions and recommend improvements.
• Lead US and offshore engagement team members to ensure high-quality deliverables and efficient workflows.
• Lead and coach staff and senior accountants on accounting and financial reporting matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 4–6 years of experience in public or private accounting.
• 3+ years of experience managing associates or teams.
• Experience serving healthcare clients, including physician practices, post-acute care, skilled nursing, or hospitals.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis, with strong planning, organizational, project management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Nice to have

• CPA, CMA, or another professional certification.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, or similar industry accounting software.
• Ability to adopt new technologies and promote constructive change.
