Sr. Analyst, Payor Strategy & Contracting (Healthcare)

Location: Remote

Salary: $85,000–$100,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Identify and prioritize payor contracting opportunities based on reimbursement, volume, market dynamics, financial impact, and strategic value.
• Build Excel-based negotiation models, analytical tools, and templates for agreements, reimbursement scenarios, and target rates.
• Use SQL and large datasets to analyze reimbursement, revenue, and market trends.
• Translate quantitative analysis into clear recommendations for business decision-making.
• Support No Surprises Act initiatives and automate recurring analyses, reporting, and workflows.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in analytics, strategy, revenue, healthcare, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of SQL experience and the ability to manipulate and interpret complex data.
• Strong business judgment and the ability to connect data with business considerations.
• Self-directed, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and committed to high-quality work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt to new responsibilities.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare revenue cycle, reimbursement, or payor contracting.
• Curiosity about AI and emerging tools.
