Finance Manager

Location: Hybrid — San Francisco or Rohnert Park, California office four times per week

Salary: $155,000–$200,000 annual base compensation plus bonus

What you will do

• Own operating and capital budget activities, partnering with functional leaders to manage P&L expenses and optimize department budgets.
• Maintain rolling forecasts, long-range plans, gross margin projections, and operating expense models.
• Build scenario analyses and sensitivity models to support business decisions.
• Translate headcount, vendor spend, project pipelines, and unit economics into forecasts and management reports.
• Lead variance reviews, headcount tracking, accruals, forecast accuracy, and recurring management reporting.
• Support senior leadership with strategic analyses, dashboards, and AI- and LLM-enabled finance workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or accounting.
• Advanced financial modeling, scenario planning, valuation modeling, and sensitivity analysis skills.
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience presenting to and collaborating with C-suite leaders and functional directors.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, critical-thinking, adaptability, and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• MBA, CPA, or CMA.
• Experience with NetSuite, Tableau, or modern finance systems.
