Control Systems Engineering Specialist - Power Electronics & Software

Location: Mossville, Illinois; onsite five days a week. Relocation is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $128,470–$192,710 per year.

What you will do

• Lead L3 electrification subsystem control programs for motors, generators, and DC/DC converters.
• Manage release content, schedules, budgets, delivery commitments, risks, and technical issues.
• Coordinate controls, software, systems, component, product, validation, and program teams.
• Develop, review, and support the release of controls and software for electrification applications.
• Provide technical guidance to ensure subsystem solutions meet performance, quality, safety, and reliability expectations.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and their applications.
• Ability to analyze system and software requirements and resolve complex technical or organizational problems.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to different audiences.
• Experience in embedded systems, electric drive systems, controls or software development, MATLAB/Simulink, and C programming.
