Cyber Business Analyst

Location: Fully remote within the United States, with occasional travel to Pentagon DC and Los Angeles AFB, and working hours aligned to Eastern Time from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Salary: $101,700–$157,200 per year

What you will do

• Provide Tier 1 triage and Tier 2 troubleshooting for Palantir Foundry platform issues, analytic workflows, data pipelines, and operational incidents.
• Coordinate with data-source owners, requestors, engineers, data scientists, analysts, and platform administrators to establish connections and resolve technical issues.
• Support REST API connectivity, data ingestion and export, system integrations, data models, and code-based and low-code/no-code workflows.
• Manage user accounts and access levels, support account-related issues, and help maintain compliance with security protocols.
• Document troubleshooting procedures, data-source migrations, recurring issues, standard operating procedures, and help desk guidance.
• Prioritize data connections, support ISSM and engineering teams, and improve platform usability, data reliability, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Top Secret security clearance and 4–7 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, software engineering, or data science.
• Experience in government headquarters staff, preferably supporting the Department of Defense or Air Force.
• Knowledge of data governance, data integration, data quality management, data analytics, data modeling, and enterprise data environments.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity protocols and compliance documentation, including ATO, PIA, MOA, and DSA.
• Experience with REST APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI, cloud or enterprise-scale analytics platforms, Python, SQL, PySpark, and TypeScript/JavaScript.

Nice to have

• Experience with Palantir Foundry.
• Experience with data lineage, transformations, data cleansing, ELT processes, and pipeline troubleshooting.
