Product Owner III (Payments)

Location: Remote work is available only in select geographic locations, subject to hirify.global approval; occasional in-office participation may be required. Work must be conducted from a quiet, secure, and confidential home workspace.

Base salary: $91,000–$202,800 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Own product vision and definition while representing customer needs.
• Lead high-complexity, multi-workstream payment initiatives as a principal product owner.
• Create, maintain, prioritize, and groom product backlogs.
• Align stakeholders on priorities, scope, dependencies, and desired outcomes.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Delivery, Scrum Masters, and development teams.
• Stabilize programs with fragmented ownership or elevated execution risk and improve delivery transparency.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience as a Product Owner or Senior Product Manager.
• Experience with payments and/or financial services.
• Experience managing large backlogs, dependencies, and cross-team coordination.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous environments with multiple stakeholders and focus on business outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.

• Experience as a lead or principal product owner across multiple teams.
• Experience scaling or stabilizing delivery in growing product organizations.
• Familiarity with modern product delivery and agile practices.
• Knowledge of data visualization, Scrum, user experience design, design thinking, and business acumen.
