Product Owner - Private Credit

Location: New York, NY; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 per year, plus bonus eligibility.

hirify.global Asset Management Solutions provides investment software for hedge funds, CLO managers, private credit funds, fund administrators, asset owners, and traditional asset managers.

What you will do

• Partner with product leadership to shape product strategy and roadmaps for public and private credit capabilities.
• Own new features and workflows across syndicated loans, private debt, and CLO management.
• Work as an embedded Product Owner in agile squads, leading sprint planning, backlog refinement, and execution.
• Translate client and business needs into epics, user stories, and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, UX/UI, QA, client services, and business stakeholders to design scalable solutions.
• Manage releases, conduct hands-on testing, support client demonstrations and documentation, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in financial technology.
• Understanding of private equity or private credit operations, accounting, or fund structures.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, computer science, technology, or a related field.
• Experience translating complex business needs into detailed product requirements and working in agile Scrum environments.
• Proficiency with product development methods, roadmap planning, sprint planning, and backlog management.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office, Jira, and Confluence. SQL experience is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global SentryPM or other syndicated loan, private credit, or CLO investment systems.
• SQL experience.
