Managed Care Resident (Health Plans)

Location: United States work at home with occasional travel

Salary: USD 22–37 per hour, depending on relevant factors including experience and geographic location. Annual bonus eligibility is anticipated.

What you will do

• Collaborate with health plan clients, account teams, and cross-functional partners to develop and execute clinical strategies.
• Analyze pharmacy and medical trends and recommend solutions that improve clinical and financial outcomes.
• Support formulary, utilization management, specialty drug management, value-based contracting, and pipeline management initiatives.
• Evaluate and implement clinical programs, innovative healthcare solutions, and emerging therapy strategies.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, including Stars and regulatory market strategies.
• Participate in client presentations, strategic planning, research, and cross-functional workgroups.

Requirements

• Pharm.D. degree from an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Pharmacy licensure in any US state within 90 days of the residency start.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong career interest in managed care pharmacy.
• Pharmacy school transcript and resume must be uploaded with the application.
