Project Engineer II (Electrical Construction)

Location: Cheyenne, Wyoming; onsite work at a company-designated office or field location

hirify.global's Sturgeon Electric commercial and industrial division delivers large-scale electrical construction, telecommunications, traffic signalization, gas distribution, high-voltage distribution, maintenance, design-build, pre-construction, and prefabrication services.

What you will do

• Interpret construction drawings and specifications and update drawings as addenda are released.
• Maintain as-built drawings and prepare closeout documentation, operation and maintenance manuals, and submittals.
• Support RFIs, contract feature checklists, subcontractor and vendor agreements, cost estimates, change requests, and change orders.
• Assist with project scheduling, statements of work, change management, and daily and weekly reporting.
• Track and purchase construction materials, tools, and equipment while maintaining accurate project records.
• Inspect equipment, materials, workmanship, and finished construction; promote safety and verify compliance with specifications.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in commercial electrical construction operations or general construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; relevant education and experience may substitute.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Intermediate or higher working knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or Primavera.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational knowledge of Bluebeam.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
