Material Handler (Aerospace)

Location: Columbus, Mississippi, United States; 100% onsite

hirify.global Helicopters manufactures and services helicopters, including military, civil, and commercial aircraft, at its Columbus, Mississippi facility.

What you will do

• Receive vendor purchase orders, verify carton counts against airway bills or bills of lading, and process receipts in SAP.
• Bag, label, and match received parts with the corresponding goods receipt documentation.
• Stock parts using handheld scanners and established warehouse procedures.
• Pick delivery notes by priority and pack shipments physically and systematically in SAP.
• Ship materials according to customer priorities and warehouse procedures.
• Complete records and documents required to maintain transaction accountability and warehouse integrity.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least three years of related warehouse experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication and good customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented approach and knowledge of warehouse and inventory control procedures.
• Current authorization to work in the United States and qualification as a U.S. Person under ITAR requirements.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and cherry pickers, and lift or carry up to 50 lb / 23 kg.

• Prior SAP experience.
