Distribution Coordinator

What you will do

• Verify purchase orders, shipping orders, packing slips, stock numbers, and product information.
• Maintain inventory, purchasing, receiving, shipping, and material-location records through manual and computerized systems.
• Reconcile physical stock counts with inventory records, document discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and package products and equipment for shipment, ensuring accurate documentation and adequate protection.
• Determine efficient transportation routes and investigate misdirected shipments, damage, shortages, and freight overcharges.
• Develop processes and procedures that improve distribution costs and operational efficiency while following applicable compliance requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 1–2 years of related experience.
• Professional, dependable work attitude.
• Basic proficiency with MS Office, document management software, and internet navigation.
• Ability to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
