Controls Project Manager (HVAC/BAS)

Location: Fort Myers/Sarasota, Florida, United States; onsite Monday through Thursday, with flexible work location on Fridays

Annual base salary: $84,740–$137,200

What you will do

• Manage project financials, cash flow, forecasts, expenses, collections support, and backlog reviews.
• Lead project teams and serve as the primary contact for customers and stakeholders.
• Review contracts, identify risks, and develop mitigation and corrective-action plans.
• Coordinate qualified subcontractors, RFQs, subcontract awards, and execution.
• Collaborate with technicians and subcontractors on schedules, specifications, control submittals, and project progress.
• Manage change orders, project documentation, compliance, safety guidelines, and construction contract requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or construction project management is a plus.
• At least 5 years of combined HVAC/BAS controls and project management experience, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience leading teams with varied technical skill levels and planning resources and manpower.
• Familiarity with execution as a third-tier contractor; experience with building owners is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations in the previous 3 years.
• Ability to work onsite Monday through Thursday in the Fort Myers/Sarasota area is required.
