Senior Manager, Project Controls, Mechanical Estimator, Project & Development Services (Construction)

Salary: $148,750–$175,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage cost management activities for complex projects focused on mechanical trades in divisions 21, 22, and 23.
• Establish cost management programs, tools, technology, processes, and deliverables for large-scale capital programs.
• Prepare mechanical quantity take-offs, estimates, cost analyses, and labor productivity evaluations.
• Integrate project plans and cost components into comprehensive cost plans and forecasts.
• Lead analysis of cost risks, issues, mitigations, accruals, forecasts, and quantitative risk assessments.
• Develop earned value plans, support project controls and execution plans, review invoices, and assist with RFPs, RFQs, contract negotiations, and value engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field.
• 8 or more years of related cost management experience on capital projects across design and construction phases.
• Mechanical estimating experience, including interpreting complex mechanical drawings and preparing quantity take-offs.
• Construction industry experience and experience working in complex, matrixed environments.
• Expertise using Excel.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, reporting, and team leadership skills.
