Manager, Financial Reporting (Healthcare)

Location: Remote

Salary: $97,000–$145,000 annually, plus potential discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Review and deliver financial reports and key performance indicators for physician practice clients.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow modeling, and technical accounting activities.
• Assist with client onboarding, system setup, process documentation, and technology platform integration.
• Develop and coach staff and senior accountants while monitoring team KPIs.
• Collaborate with advisory teams and external partners to improve client services and identify opportunities for higher-value work.
• Implement process improvements and train team members on system enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.
• 4–6 years of public or private accounting experience and 3+ years of managing associates or teams.
• Familiarity with federal and state healthcare regulations affecting financial reporting.
• Experience with healthcare revenue cycle management, including billing, coding, and collections.
• Knowledge of cost allocation across specialties and physician compensation models.
• Proficiency with Intacct, QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Bill.com, and Microsoft Office, along with strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Nice to have

• CPA or MBA certification.
• Experience balancing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
