Location: Long Beach, California, United States; onsite role with significant time in active construction and manufacturing environments.

Salary: $104,960–$160,632 USD per year.

What you will do

  • Own construction and facilities projects from initiation through completion, translating objectives into tasks, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate construction trades, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and internal stakeholders in active field environments.
  • Verify field conditions, identify discrepancies in construction documents, and determine appropriate next steps.
  • Maintain project schedules, trackers, documentation, costs, progress updates, risks, decisions, and action items.
  • Prepare scopes of work, obtain contractor bids, conduct job walk-downs, and coordinate vendor approval and insurance requirements.
  • Review technical plans and manage RFIs between the field and the architect or engineer of record.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Experience supporting or managing construction, facilities, engineering, or similar projects.
  • Strong communication, organization, follow-through, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently, make judgments with limited information, and manage multiple projects in a high-stress environment.
  • Must be a U.S. person under U.S. export-control rules or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline.
  • Experience in active construction or field environments and aerospace facilities.
  • Familiarity with space planning procedures, operations, and computer applications.
  • Experience collaborating with contractors, vendors, engineers, and operations teams.
