TL;DR
Third Shift Supervisor, Atlas Data Operations (Robotics): Leading overnight robot teleoperation and data collection operations for Atlas in a Waltham production environment with an accent on safety, team performance, and continuous improvement. Focus on solving operational bottlenecks, coaching teams in real time, and translating data and observations into durable process improvements.

Location: Waltham Office, Waltham, Massachusetts, United States. Third-shift schedule is 10:30 PM–7:00 AM from Sunday evening through Friday morning, with flexibility for schedule changes as business needs require.

Base pay: $88,603.82–$110,754.78 annually.

What you will do

  • Lead the safe, end-to-end execution of third-shift data collection operations across multiple robot platforms.
  • Manage standard work completion, resolve operational blockers, and provide real-time coaching to improve quality.
  • Address performance issues, fill operational gaps when needed, and lead by example as a servant leader.
  • Partner with R&D, Fleet Operations, IT, and Building Operations to secure resources and drive cross-functional solutions.
  • Analyze operational data, observations, and team feedback to identify bottlenecks and implement improvement plans.
  • Design durable tools and mechanisms that deliver sustainable operational results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of employee performance management experience.
  • Experience leading large, fast-paced teams in an operations or production environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data and observations into actionable plans.
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, push, pull, squat, and climb stairs for up to 12 hours, and lift up to 49 pounds.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
