Operations Coordinator (Robotics)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States; onsite and field-based, with movement between depots, deployment zones, and customer locations.

Salary: $23–$25 per hour plus equity.

What you will do

• Coordinate daily robot deployments between Field Agents and Piloting teams.
• Monitor live operations, resolve issues in real time, and escalate service disruptions.
• Open and close depots, enforce SOPs, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Track deployment efficiency, uptime, utilization, and other operational metrics.
• Implement processes and protocols, support team adoption, and assist with operational decision-making.
• Support onboarding, training, field operations, piloting, and project initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, including 3+ years in operations, logistics, or customer service.
• Strong organizational, collaboration, problem-solving, and independent working skills.
• Comfort with Excel or Google Sheets.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to drive mid-size utility vehicles as needed.
• Ability to work onsite and in field conditions, including nights, weekends, holidays, variable weather, standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Compliance with PPE, high-visibility clothing, safe footwear, cell phone, and dress code requirements.
