Project Coordinator, Electrical

Location: Remote within the United States; US work authorization required. Conditions list 200 East Randolph Street, Chicago, IL 60601, USA.

Salary: $75,000–$100,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses.

What you will do

• Build and maintain centralized documentation and tracking systems for electrical projects.
• Screen vendor product data and technical submittals against project specifications.
• Track schedules and milestones across concurrent projects and escalate timeline variances.
• Coordinate routine communication with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal engineers.
• Set up meetings, capture notes and action items, and follow up through completion.
• Develop hands-on proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD while identifying obvious model clashes or omissions.

Requirements

• Early-career experience in project coordination, administration, or a related support role.
• Experience coordinating projects in construction, engineering, MEP, or a related technical field.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, documents, and changing priorities.
• Clear communication skills with engineers, clients, contractors, and vendors.
• Curiosity about BIM and willingness to build skills in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• US work authorization is required.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• Experience at an architecture, engineering, or MEP firm.
