Intermediate Structural Designer (Advanced Industrial Facilities)

Location: Must reside within 50 miles of the Phoenix, AZ metropolitan area to support the hybrid work schedule

Salary: $62,400 – $79,000

What you will do

• Develop and maintain complex 3D structural models in Revit based on engineering data and sketches.
• Produce complete sets of structural plans, sections, and details for steel and concrete structures.
• Manage assigned workloads independently to ensure deliverables meet project scope and client standards.
• Perform rigorous self-checks to verify accuracy and completeness prior to QA/QC submission.
• Coordinate with MEP and Architectural disciplines to ensure seamless integration within the project model.
• Implement design automation and adopt emerging BIM technologies to improve team efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of drafting and design experience in the structural engineering field.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional hands-on experience using Revit in a production environment.
• Must reside within 50 miles of the Phoenix, AZ metropolitan area.
• Strong foundation in developing structural plans for traditional steel and concrete systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent with completed coursework in CADD.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in Computer-Aided Drafting or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of Revit experience.
• Previous experience with general industrial facilities or advanced technology manufacturing plants.
• Familiarity with Navisworks and Bluebeam.
