Pilot Press Operator (Print Production)

What you will do

• Review job tickets and determine production requirements.
• Operate a dry offset printing press for metal decorating and maintain proper mechanical operation.
• Produce pilot printed cans, support customer approvals, and collaborate on print adjustments.
• Apply color standards and create pilot standards using color measurement hardware and software.
• Perform quality control, record job ticket and maintenance data, and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
• Coordinate with plant workstations, graphics personnel, ink suppliers, supervisors, and production managers on schedules, technical issues, inventory, and maintenance.

Requirements

• Ability to work on-site in St. Louis, Missouri
• Experience operating or maintaining production printing equipment; dry offset experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow department SOPs and plant procedures.
• Ability to use color measurement hardware and software and maintain accurate production records.
• Ability to collaborate with customers, graphics personnel, supervisors, and production teams.
