Quality Control Inspector I – 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site manufacturing facility; second shift. Physical work is classified as medium-heavy and includes continuous standing and walking, frequent lifting, bending, and use of hand and power tools.

Pay: $21–$24 per hour, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Inspect component parts, switches, orders, and finished products using visual inspection and measuring tools.
• Perform internal process audits, document findings, and report violations of ISO standards.
• Identify drawing discrepancies and communicate them to Engineering.
• Support non-conformance reports, customer improvement initiatives, corrective actions, and customer inspections.
• Participate in prototype reviews, dimensional analysis, and creation or implementation of process control charts.
• Train production personnel and maintain accurate production and quality documentation.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, bills of material, wiring diagrams, and ladder diagrams.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel; ERP experience is desirable.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, Fluke multimeters, and small hand or power tools.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience and skill development.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ideally, 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
