Maintenance Technician (Injection/Compression Molding)

Location: New Castle, Pennsylvania, United States

Salary: $20–$30 per hour, depending on experience; paid bi-weekly.

hirify.global operates a manufacturing site requiring general machine maintenance and production equipment support.

What you will do

• Maintain injection and compression molding machines for the shift production team.
• Clear line jams, restart production lines, and perform minor repairs and adjustments during 12-hour shifts.
• Diagnose mechanical and quality problems, determine required repairs, and return malfunctioning equipment to service.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, basic electrical systems, and conveyor systems.
• Adjust machinery independently to maintain efficiency and minimize non-conformances.
• Monitor material availability and reduce scrap and downtime during color changes.

Requirements

• Strong general mechanical abilities, including experience diagnosing and repairing engines or comparable machinery.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to perform calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required; injection or compression molding experience is a plus.
