Fund Controller (Real Estate)

Salary: £60,000–£70,000 per annum plus benefits

An established real estate investment fund managing Luxembourg-domiciled closed-ended real estate funds and related investment structures.

What you will do

• Take responsibility for financial control and oversight of Luxembourg-domiciled closed-ended real estate funds and associated SPVs.
• Review fund accounting, NAVs, reporting packs, reconciliations, and financial statements prepared by third-party administrators.
• Manage annual audits and liaise with auditors, tax advisers, administrators, AIFMs, depositaries, and other service providers.
• Monitor capital calls, investor distributions, fund allocations, cash, liquidity, forecasts, expenses, and management fees.
• Support valuations, fund performance reporting, investor reporting, governance, board reporting, acquisitions, disposals, and restructurings.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial controls, reporting, automation, and process efficiency.

Requirements

• Newly or recently ACA qualified at PwC, Deloitte, EY, or KPMG.
• Direct audit experience covering real estate investment funds, real estate private equity, or institutional real estate investment structures.
• Strong technical accounting, financial reporting, and audit experience.
• Commercial judgement, analytical ability, intellectual curiosity, and confidence communicating with senior finance and investment professionals.
• Immediately available or able to start at very short notice.
• Ability to work in Mayfair, London.

Nice to have

• Experience with Luxembourg fund structures.
• Interest in using Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT, and other AI-enabled applications for analysis, reporting, automation, and workflow efficiency.
