Account Analyst, Middle East (Asset Management)

What you will do

• Prepare detailed weekly, monthly, and quarterly client reports covering performance, trading activity, portfolio valuation, accounting, and risk metrics.
• Gather and analyze economic, market, and portfolio data for Middle East and Africa Account Managers.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative performance attribution and evaluate portfolio structures.
• Support customized client reporting, ad-hoc information requests, and business development activities.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Product Managers, Portfolio Managers, and other investment professionals.
• Automate reporting requirements and streamline reporting processes while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in a similar role within asset management or financial services.
• University degree in finance, economics, or a related quantitative or analytical field; an advanced degree is also considered.
• Knowledge of fixed-income markets, macroeconomics, private assets, and derivative instruments.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, communication, time-management, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and general software applications; VBA knowledge is an advantage.
• Fluent English required. Arabic is a plus.

Nice to have

• Progress toward the CFA qualification.
• Experience with Bloomberg or Yieldbook.
• Familiarity with AI tools and AI-enabled capabilities for research, efficiency, and problem-solving.
