Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead first-shift manufacturing operations in the New Components division.
• Oversee production of precision components for large generators and ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
• Allocate resources, manage personnel, support training compliance, and coordinate production schedules.
• Monitor bottlenecks and coordinate shift handovers to maintain business continuity.
• Drive continuous improvement, reduce defects and rework, and improve manufacturing productivity.
• Enforce safety, environmental, quality, and company standards; conduct walkthroughs, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or production, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
• Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing, large generators, turbomachinery, or similar precision manufacturing environments preferred.
• Knowledge of CNC machine setup and machining operations strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, conflict resolution, problem-solving, scheduling, resource allocation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
