HSES Head (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Location: Marcy-l'Étoile and Alba La Romaine, France; site-based role

What you will do

• Deploy the Group HSES strategy and management systems across the Marcy-l'Étoile and Alba La Romaine sites.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, hirify.global requirements, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, GMP, and other applicable standards.
• Lead site-wide risk assessments, risk-control measures, HSE management reviews, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Build HSES culture through management tools, communication plans, training programs, and lessons learned.
• Advise site management on HSES policy, objectives, crisis management, and interactions with regulatory bodies.
• Define the HSES department's organization, strategic direction, resources, and team-development priorities.

Requirements

• Significant experience in the pharmaceutical industry across production, quality, and/or HSE functions.
• Master's degree or equivalent Bac +5 qualification in HSES or a related field.
• Knowledge of quality processes, HSE regulations, and applicable standards.
• Leadership, rigor, autonomy, analytical ability, decision-making, change-management, and people-development skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally at all organizational levels.
• English at B2–C1 level, with fluent professional communication skills.
