Cyber Underwriter

Location: London, United Kingdom; office-based at least 3 days per week with occasional overseas business travel

What you will do

• Underwrite new and renewal cyber risks within the defined underwriting appetite, progressing from simpler risks to complex accounts.
• Underwrite large corporate cyber and technology E&O policies on primary and excess bases.
• Attend client meetings and build relationships with partner brokers and clients.
• Execute underwriting and sales initiatives to grow the cyber portfolio.
• Develop hirify.global’s position as a leading cyber insurance market in Lloyd’s.

Requirements

• Cyber underwriting experience or a strong cyber broking background within the London Market.
• Experience with large corporate or “big-ticket” cyber accounts, typically organisations with revenue above £250 million.
• Experience handling complex commercial risks and supporting renewal and new business activity.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship-building, mathematical, analytical, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with sound judgment, accountability, and commercial awareness.

Nice to have

• Degree-level education or demonstrable relevant experience with excellent A levels.
• Progress in ACII examinations or commitment to completing them.
