Location: Onsite in Little Rock, Arkansas, United States; Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm CST. Ability to commute between locations as needed and work overtime during peak seasons may be required.

What you will do

  • Receive and process patient health information and medical record requests in accordance with company, facility, and HIPAA requirements.
  • Safeguard confidential patient information and prevent unauthorized disclosure.
  • Prepare, organize, verify, and manage paper and electronic patient records.
  • Create digital images of paperwork and maintain information in electronic medical record systems.
  • Retrieve and transmit records to internal and external requesters, including insurance, workers' compensation, DDS, and subpoena requests.
  • Handle calls, faxes, mail, data entry, patient walk-ins, pickups, and other site-specific administrative duties while meeting productivity expectations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work onsite in Little Rock, Arkansas, and commute between locations when needed.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Basic computer proficiency, strong data entry skills, and comfort using phones, fax machines, printers, and other office equipment.
  • Ability to organize multiple tasks, work with minimal supervision, and respond to changing priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Attention to detail and quality when handling medical records and confidential information.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of HIPAA and medical terminology.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record and billing systems.
  • Experience with subpoenas, healthcare environments, production or metric-based work, or in-person customer service.
  • Ability to build relationships with onsite clients and suggest process improvements.
