What you will do

• Evaluate, functionally test, service, and perform basic troubleshooting on new and used medical devices.
• Use electronic test equipment and learn testing systems across assigned products.
• Troubleshoot test-equipment setups and distinguish real product failures from false failures.
• Record product and quality information using computer or written records.
• Communicate issues to the Team Lead or Supervisor and participate in cross-training and process improvement.
• Handle or service used or recycled medical devices while following protective-equipment and safety requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three years of testing and troubleshooting experience with electronic or electrical equipment.
• Ability to understand basic circuits and read and interpret basic schematic drawings.
• Full comprehension of written and spoken English is required because training and knowledge testing are conducted in English.
• Ability to follow medical-device procedures, regulatory requirements, safety rules, and detailed instructions consistently.
• Strong attention to detail, inquisitiveness, coachability, and ability to work effectively in a team.
