GPU Performance Software Engineer (AI)

Location: New York, NY, United States. The position is associated with office and data center locations. Access to export-controlled information requires eligibility as a U.S. person, authorization-free access, or eligibility for a U.S. government export authorization.

Base salary: $120,000–$160,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits based on eligibility.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable solutions for testing and validating cloud infrastructure.
• Develop performance tests and automation workflows for hardware validation across the infrastructure fleet.
• Troubleshoot and maintain Kubernetes custom controllers and operators that automate infrastructure testing.
• Adapt and extend open-source tools to improve visibility into system metrics, performance, and health.
• Partner with fleet, product, and hardware teams to improve the GPU performance testing platform.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Approximately 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Competency in Go and/or Python development.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes at production scale.
• Eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled information is required under applicable export regulations.
