Salary: USD 52,000–56,160 per year

What you will do

  • Manage workforce development programs to meet or exceed defined goals and maintain knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Communicate policies and procedures, provide technical assistance, and support center staff performance and service quality.
  • Analyze workforce activities and program data, identify trends, and recommend operational improvements.
  • Conduct quality reviews, prepare monitoring reports, and ensure corrective actions are completed within required timeframes.
  • Develop and deliver program-specific training for new and existing staff.
  • Collaborate with community leadership and operations management to resolve programmatic issues and maintain operating standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Business, Education, Human Resources, or an equivalent qualification.
  • At least five years of experience with the Workforce Investment Opportunity Act preferred, including at least three years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Knowledge of WIOA legislation, regulations, customer service practices, and performance management.
  • Project management, organizational, personnel, problem-solving, data analysis, communication, and technical skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, coach staff, and support continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work in an office environment in Chicago, with occasional travel to other locations.
