Mission Execution Lead (US)

Location: El Segundo, California, United States; travel up to 50% to customer sites across the United States and abroad.

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 base compensation annually, excluding bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Translate military and commercial customer needs into clear, actionable requirements for engineering, product management, and leadership.
• Lead customer engagements from initial site surveys and environmental assessments through training, demonstrations, and operational exercises.
• Coordinate end-to-end deployment activities, anticipate requirements, remove execution risks, and support reliable field delivery.
• Build a detailed understanding of CHAOS products, technology, internal resources, and end-user mission requirements.
• Engage with customer stakeholders ranging from tactical operators to senior strategic leaders at headquarters, military installations, the Pentagon, and field locations.

Requirements

• Proven program or project management experience developing requirements, scoping programs, and delivering to defense-industry customers.
• Experience working hands-on with hardware in customer field environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across operator and senior-leadership audiences.
• Willingness to work in hazardous operational environments; approved locations may qualify for hazardous duty pay.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% across the United States and abroad.
• Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Nice to have

• Experience with radar, RF, sensors, weapons systems, defense technology, or communications.
• Extensive U.S. military operations experience or a background in military engineering and advanced defense technologies.
• Experience deploying within the United States or overseas and operating in remote environments.
