Customer Technical Program Manager (Data Centers)

Location: DFW01_02, Dallas–Fort Worth, United States; travel up to 25% may be required.

Salary: $110,000–$175,000 plus bonus.

What you will do

• Coordinate pre-sales contractual activities, portfolio availability, lease reviews, technical requirements, and customer-specific base-building modifications.
• Act as the primary technical liaison between customers, sales, solution architects, delivery, design, construction, operations, legal, and other stakeholders.
• Lead technical projects from pre-construction through post-delivery, managing scope, schedules, budgets, change reviews, and customer communications.
• Guide customers through data center base-build and fit-out phases while ensuring operational and technical requirements are met.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, monitor KPIs, and report project performance and risks to internal and external stakeholders.
• Standardize workflows, capture lessons learned, implement feedback loops, and improve customer and project delivery processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• At least 5 years of design or project management experience in a data center environment is strongly preferred.
• Advanced experience with Excel and/or AutoCAD; ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, project scopes, schedules, and cost impacts.
• Strong written and verbal communication, leadership, organizational, time-management, multitasking, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to understand construction cost estimating methods, develop scopes of work, monitor design and schedule changes, and forecast their impact on project costs.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, follow directions, meet deadlines, and collaborate across the organization.

Nice to have

• Experience with MS Projects, Prolog, Procore, BIM 360, or similar project management software.
• Knowledge of CAD and/or Bluebeam.
• Mechanical or electrical background.
• Sales or customer-focused training.
• Strong leadership experience in engineering, construction management, or sales.
