Auto Damage Trainee (Field)

Location: San Rafael, CA, United States. Field territory covers the San Rafael area. The training program includes 3 weeks at a facility in Ashburn, VA, and 2 weeks at a field training center in NY, TX, or CA.

Annual salary: $32.05–$50.36.

What you will do

• Inspect vehicles and assess accident-related damage.
• Review insurance contracts and prepare vehicle repair estimates.
• Negotiate equitable settlements and manage rental vehicles.
• Consult with customers and other involved parties to resolve concerns.
• Coordinate with body shops, rental companies, and parts providers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license meeting company underwriting guidelines required.
• Customer-facing experience preferred, especially in high-volume call centers with KPIs and measurable goals.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, problem-solving, empathy, adaptability, and organizational skills.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Active adjuster’s license preferred; training and exam fees are provided.
