VP, Infrastructure Platforms

Location: Milwaukee, WI Corporate, United States

Salary: $220,000–$330,000 per year, plus eligible short-term and long-term incentive compensation.

hirify.global is a financial services company operating technology platforms that support clients, advisors, enterprise partners, and approximately 1,800 engineers.

What you will do

• Set the multi-year strategy, roadmap, and quarterly outcomes for Infrastructure Platforms.
• Lead cloud modernization, infrastructure simplification, and consolidation of developer experience platforms.
• Complete the move to pipeline-first delivery and remove standing production access across the estate.
• Manage cloud, infrastructure, developer tools, and managed-service vendors through demand planning and outcome-based governance.
• Run production operations, lead major incident response, and turn recurring failures into owned engineering work.
• Represent Infrastructure Platforms to the CIO, executive leadership, enterprise partners, and the broader engineering community.

Requirements

• 15+ years in software or infrastructure engineering, including 8+ years leading engineering organizations.
• Experience leading large cloud migrations involving application modernization, developer platform consolidation, and infrastructure simplification.
• Current expertise in at least one major cloud provider, preferably AWS, plus container platforms, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and observability.
• Experience building platforms used by other engineering teams and running production operations across a large platform estate.
• Experience with incident response, on-call programs, post-incident reviews, reliability metrics, and measurable operational improvements.
• Experience managing enterprise vendor agreements and engineering organizations through measurable outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services or another regulated industry.
• Experience introducing AI-assisted development tools to a large engineering organization.
• Public technical writing, speaking, or open-source contributions.
