Salary: $99,000–$206,000 per year

What you will do

• Architect, deploy, and maintain containerized environments using Kubernetes, Proxmox, and Rancher.
• Design scalable virtualization solutions with Citrix and support multi-user environments.
• Manage logging, monitoring, and observability systems including the ELK Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Configure secure network software stacks integrating microservices and distributed systems.
• Develop automation and provisioning scripts with Python, Bash, and Terraform.
• Optimize infrastructure for high availability, fault tolerance, heavy workloads, and minimal downtime while collaborating with development and operations teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration systems.
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems, network administration, virtualization, Citrix environments, and infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD workflows, Git, monitoring, and observability tools.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Proxmox and Rancher.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, event-driven frameworks, networking protocols, firewalls, and security configurations.
• Experience designing infrastructure for high-load or large-scale environments.
• Infrastructure-related certifications such as Kubernetes Certified Administrator.
