Senior Associate, Asset Management (Commercial Real Estate)

Annual base salary: $85,000–$110,000

What you will do

• Manage assigned commercial real estate loans and communicate with borrowers, lenders, investors, and sponsors.
• Process borrower requests and consents.
• Analyze property financials and report property and loan performance through quarterly asset reports.
• Monitor property-level concerns, including capital expenditure projects, leasing progress, construction status, and overall performance.
• Prepare weekly loan portfolio updates and monitor loan-specific events and triggers.
• Supervise and mentor direct reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, accounting, business, or equivalent education and experience.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Proficiency with major commercial property types, including office, industrial, retail, and multifamily; knowledge of hotels and condominiums.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial real estate underwriting, loan servicing, treasury practices, and calculations including IRR, NPV, DSCR, DY, NOI, and NCF.
• Experience with transitional, development, pre-development, repositioning, and stabilized properties, as well as complex debt positions such as senior and mezzanine debt, participations, syndications, CLOs/CDOs, warehouse, and repo lines.
• Ability to create complex financial models, work independently under tight deadlines, communicate effectively, and use Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
