Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician

Location: Hartselle, Alabama, USA. Onsite, second shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with occasional overtime.

Pay rate: $33.38–$36.27 per hour depending on experience, plus a $0.75 shift differential.

What you will do

• Maintain, install, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, robotic, automation, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain AC and DC drives, motors, and PLC programs; modify or write PLC programs when required.
• Perform root cause analysis, corrective actions, preventive maintenance, and predictive maintenance to reduce unplanned and repeat failures.
• Fabricate and install electrical, piping, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment; perform welding, machining, and shop work as required by the location.
• Communicate with operations personnel to resolve abnormal equipment conditions and support operator asset ownership.
• Document maintenance activity in the CMMS and maintain safety, housekeeping, and 5S standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma, preferably with a vocational focus.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, robotic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics, including PLC program logic.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 70E electrical safety requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a CMMS, plus strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Experience expectations vary by level: 4+ years for IMRT Level I, 6+ for Level II, 8+ for Level III, and 10+ for Senior level.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field.
• Equivalent military experience.
• Welding, machining, and fabrication skills appropriate to the plant.
