CNC Machine Park Intern (Robotics Manufacturing)

Salary: $28.00–$30.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support daily setup, part loading, tool handling, and routine maintenance across the CNC machine park.
• Assist experienced machine operators and programmers with consistent machine uptime and production output.
• Learn to read part drawings, interpret basic G-code, and perform first-look inspections of finished parts.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe machining-floor environment.
• Take on progressively more technical responsibilities while producing precision components for NEO humanoid robots.

Requirements

• Genuine interest in manufacturing and willingness to learn CNC operations from the ground up.
• Comfort working hands-on with machines, tools, and physical materials in a shop environment.
• Reliability, consistent attendance, attention to detail, and a strong safety mindset.
• Clear and honest communication, curiosity, and willingness to ask questions and take ownership.
• Ability to work on-site in Hayward, California.

Nice to have

• Coursework, vocational training, or hobby experience in machining, fabrication, or shop tools.
• Basic familiarity with mechanical drawings, GD&T, or G-code.
• Exposure to calipers, micrometers, gauges, or other inspection tools.
• Interest in robotics, automation, or advanced manufacturing.
