Commercial Project Manager (Energy)

What you will do

• Co-lead small gas turbine projects with the Technical Project Manager, focusing on commercial, financial, and contractual execution.
• Prepare commercial project documentation and maintain accurate project data, books, and records in SAP.
• Forecast revenue, profit, and cash flow; initiate invoicing and manage costs to optimize cash flow.
• Manage contract administration, claims, change orders, financial guarantees, bonds, and project securities.
• Identify project risks and opportunities, minimize non-conformance costs, and maintain appropriate reporting structures.
• Manage customer expectations and support the implementation of project lessons learned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• CIMA, ACCA, PMP, or an equivalent commercial project management certification.
• 3–5 years of experience in commercial project management, project controlling, or financial management.
• Experience with international projects and intercultural teams in the engineering or energy sector.
• Experience with project financial controlling, budgeting, forecasting, GAAP, and Financial Reporting Guidelines.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP financial modules, contract law, claim and change order negotiation, risk management, and stakeholder management.
