Business Development Material Solutions Project Management

Location: Remote within the United States, preferably Central, Midwest, or East Coast; travel to customers and internal factories is required for trials.

What you will do

• Lead complex, high-impact projects across multiple business lines from early-stage innovation through market launch.
• Coordinate global and regional stakeholders, including Business Development, Engineering, Operations, Commercial teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, deliverables, and customer commitments.
• Prioritize project portfolios according to strategic value and business impact.
• Provide cross-functional leadership and clear communication across teams, functions, and regions.
• Drive continuous improvement, lessons learned, and effective project management practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing, industrial, materials, or engineering environments.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in global, matrixed organizations.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
• Experience with commercialization, new product development, or customer-driven innovation projects.
• Ability to work remotely within the United States and travel to customers and internal factories for trials.

Nice to have

• MBA or equivalent business experience.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and FMEA.
• Experience with adhesives, laminates, converting, automotive, or electrification markets.
• Early-stage innovation and product development experience.
